May 5 (BTA) - New 57 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 1,689, the national coronavirus task force said on Tuesday morning.

There were four fatalities in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 78.

Twenty-one COVID-19 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 342. RI/ZH
