site.bta1,865 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria

Sofia, May 8 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria has reached 1,865, informed national task force
secretary Assoc. Prof. Dimo Dimov. Over the last 24 hours, 1,397
 test sample were analysed; there are 54 new cases.

Five of the new COVID-19 cases are children aged 7 to 18.

Nine more medics have contracted the disease.

A total of 401 patients have recovered, Dimov said. Over the
last 24 hours there have been no casualties among the confirmed
coronavirus cases. NV/MT
