site.bta2,372 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria

May 22 (BTA) - The total number of confirmed COVID-19
cases in Bulgaria is 2,372 the national coronavirus task force
said at its news briefing on Friday morning. The latest
confirmed cases are 41. The fatalities are 125, five recent. A
total of 769 patients have recovered, 42 recent.

The number of medical staff with coronavirus infection are 249.

Todor Kandardjiev of the task force said that the steady
increase of the number of tested people does not lead to spikes
in newly detected cases. RY/ZH
