"The idea of the memorandum is to refocus on why we formed this Government, why a National Assembly is there to complete its job," Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said here on Wednesday, commenting on a governance memorandum that Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria offered to their power-sharing partners GERB-UDF.

"It was very clearly said that the memorandum is presented as a starting point for talks and negotiations. The basic thing in this memorandum is that we should shift our focus back on the forthcoming reforms," the Prime Minister said, specifying that this includes filling the complement of the regulators and of the anti-corruption commission and amendments to the Judicial System Act.
