August 3 (BTA) - The Belgian Foreign Ministry has updated the regulations concerning international arrivals. The new rules introduce a compulsory 14-day quarantine for arrivals from two regions in Bulgaria, the Northeastern and the Southwestern. Arrivals from these two areas are also subject to compulsory COVID-19 testing.

Testing and quarantine are recommended for arrivals in Belgium from the other regions of Bulgaria. Travelling to Bulgaria's Northeastern and Southwestern regions is banned, while a special advisory is issued for trips to the other regions.

As of the start of the month, all persons travelling to Belgium are required to fill in an electronic form 48 hours before arrival. RI/ZH//
