In the next 48 hours, the weather situation will become significantly more complicated under the influence of a Mediterranean cyclone passing south of Bulgaria.

November 25: The rain showers will continue, many places will have heavy rain. As it gets colder in the afternoon, the rain will turn to snow in Western and Central Bulgaria and a snow cover will form. Wind northwesterly strong, northeasterly in the eastern parts. Lows: 8-13C, North-West and Sofia Region 2-3C. Highs: West 0C, South-East 16-17C.

Black Sea coast: Cloudy and rainy. Heavy rain, with thunder in the South. Wind strong southwesterly in the morning, northeasterly in the afternoon. Sea water temperature: 9-11C. The weather will get worse on the night to Sunday.

Mountains: Cloudy with heavy rain, rain turning to snow in the lower parts. Wind stormy southwesterly, north-northwesterly at lower altitudes. Snow storms, blizzards and snow drifts in the passes. Poor visibility. Highs: 3C at 1,200 m, minus 1C at 2,000 m.

November 26: Very windy. Showers will stop from West to East. The North-East will still have heavy showers and blizzards. Snow drifts in the Eastern Balkan Mountains. The clouds will clear out from the South-West. Cold weather. Lows: below 0C. Highs: around 0C.
