The head coach of the Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics group and coach of the first Olympic women's champions, Vessela Dimitrova, is currently in Japan, working with the hosts' national ensemble, the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation said.

She has been coaching the Japanese athletes and will present their five-hoop routine.

In 2022, Dimitrova was invited to coach Mexico’s national rhythmic gymnastics team.

Bulgarian specialists are often invited to train athletes in different countries across the world. A week ago, coach Valentina Ivanova returned from Japan, where she spent one week training a female athlete who was preparing for national team selection at the AEON club. Last year, coach Mariana Pamukova was invited to Brazil.
