Themes Set for Applicants under OP Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises in Bulgaria's North-West

The public consultation on the first procedure under Operational Programme (OP) Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises 2021-2027 is underway, BTA learned from Tsvetana Ivanova, Director of the Regional Information Centre in Vratsa. The main objective is to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises to increase their competitiveness by developing innovations in thematic areas.

The themes for the North-West are "Mechatronics and Microelectronics", "Industry for Healthy Living, Bioeconomy and Biotechnologies", "New Technologies in Creative and Recreational Industries" and one theme which is common to all, "Clean Technologies, Circular and Low Carbon Economy".  The minimum grant funding is BGN 50,000 and the maximum, which also depends on the category of the enterprise, is in the range of BGN 250,000 to 500,000.

The public consultation is open until May 23. Comments and suggestions can be submitted to the Managing Authority. The procedure is expected to be open for applications in early June, Ivanova said.
