site.btaCulture Minister to Confer Golden Age Awards on May 22

Culture Minister Nayden Todorov will confer Golden Age Awards on May 22, his Ministry said. The awards are given every year for the Day of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture and of Slavic Literature, marked on May 24, the day of the holy brothers St. Cyril and St. Methodius, who devised the Glagolitic alphabet.

The awards will go to artists for their contribution to the development of Bulgarian culture, the Ministry said.
