site.btaCentral Election Commission to Open 11,818 Polling Stations, 9,366 Offer Machine Voting
Central Electoral Commission (CEC) spokesperson Rossitsa Mateva reported during a briefing on Thursday that there are 11,818 polling stations in the country, of which 9,366 will offer machine voting. Applications for voting outside the country will be accepted until March 7, and by March 11 the CEC will decide the number of polling stations abroad and their locations.
