site.btaArtist Dragan Nemtsov Dedicates New Exhibition to Sofia

Artist Dragan "Drago" Nemtsov has dedicated to Sofia a new exhibition of his art. It opens at the Sofia City Library on December 2, said the organizers.

Titled "Sofia of Two Faces", the exhibition includes 24 paintings that depict recognizable places in the Bulgarian capital. The artist is preoccupied with the topic of shares existence in past, present and future, in an urban and rural environment.

The exhibition is curated by Evgenia Atanassova - Teneva.

Dragan Nemtsov graduated from the Sofia Art Academy under renowned Bulgarian artist Decho Uzunov. He has participated in over 120 group and solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. He is currently a professor at St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia and also teaches at the Sofia Art Academy.
