Sofia, July 9 (BTA) - The current Summit of the Three Seas
Initiative (3SI) confirms the growing importance of cooperation
in this format, which supports economic development in the
region, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said, speaking at the
final news conference after the 3SI meeting in Sofia.
   
"We have a list of prioritized projects, we have cooperation
between the chambers of commerce and this is beginning to bear
fruit," he commented, adding that the development of ties at
parliamentary and local level complements intergovernmental
ones. The ultimate goal of these efforts remains the
implementation of the priority projects in economy, transport
and digital connectivity, the Romanian President said.
   
Citizens have great expectations and these have to be met
adequately over the forthcoming period. The importance of the
3SI lies in its capacity to support the joint decisions in order
 to encourage sustainable development, a stronger economy and
the prospects for an intelligent and smart growth, Iohannis
pointed out. Not surprisingly, interest in the initiative and it
