Sofia, July 29 (BTA) - The outgoing cabinet supports the project for the Kozloduy N-plant's Unit 7 as this is a national project and there should be consistency between the governments on the matter, outgoing Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski said during a meeting, held at the Council of Ministers with Westinghouse Electric Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, Danny Roderick, the Government Information Service said Tuesday.

Oresharski noted his approval for the work under the project so far, underscoring that this is a prerequisite for the next government to re-confirm it.

"I believe that the project is a good one," the Prime Minister said.

"I appreciate the support we have received so far," Roderick said. He voiced confidence that the project will be a long-term asset for Bulgaria, emphasizing its benefits. He said he is concerned about project delays and wishes that work under the project continues. According to him, it is important to work on energy policy and energy security, regardless of the political cycle, the press release reads.
