Sofia, August 21 (BTA) - Prime Minister Georgi Bliznashki has
formed his team, the government information service said
Thursday. Georgi Georgiev will be Chef de Cabinet. Georgiev is a
lawyer who was a member of the Committee on Disclosure of
Documents and Announcing Affiliation of Bulgarian Citizens to
State Security and the Intelligence Services of the Bulgarian
Army, a legal and business consultant. In 1990-1993 he held
various positions at the Ministry of Science and Higher
Education, including chief secretary of the ministry. In
2001-2003 he was deputy minister of regional development and
urban planning.

Lawyer Prof. Emilia Droumeva will advise the Prime Minister on
election issues. She has chaired the expert council with the Ad
hoc Committee on Amendment of the Constitution in the 39th
National Assembly, Bulgaria's representative for two mandates in
the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture
at the Council of Europe. A judge at the Constitutional Court
from 2003 to 2012.

Denitsa Zheleva will be adviser on foreign affairs. Zheleva is a
master in Scandinavian and American studies, as well as in
economic psychology from the Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelm
University of Bonn. She has specialized at the diplomatic
institutes of the German and Bulgarian foreign ministries. She
has worked at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as project
coordinator for the Southeast Europe media programme.

Tsvyatko Georgiev will advise the Prime Minister on national
security. In 2010-2013 he was an expert adviser at the
Sub-committee for Parliamentary Control and Monitoring of
Procedures under the Special Surveillance Means Act and the
Telecommunications Act at the National Assembly. Before that he
worked at the National Security Service and the State Agency for
National Security where he headed a directorate. He has
participated in NATO's Security Committee and Special Committee.

Maya Ivanova will be adviser on legal affairs. She is a master
in law from Sofia University where she was co-founder of the
Constitutional Law Club. Since June 2013 she has been legal
adviser at the Executive Agency Maritime Administration.

The dean of the Economic Faculty of the Southwestern University
in Blagoevgrad, Prof. Gancho Ganchev, will be the adviser on
economic issues.

Hristo Hristev will advise the Prime Minister on European
Affairs. He holds a doctoral degree in law from the University
of Nancy and teaches EU law at the Law Faculty of Sofia
University. He has participated in various research projects of
the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), the Open Society
Institute and Transparency International, among others.

Vesselin Ninova will be adviser on media policy. He is a
bachelor in PR and a master in political science from Sofia
University. From 2010 until 2012 he was chief expert at the
Ministry of Finance and from February 2012 until August 7, 2014,
he headed the Press Secretariat of the President.

Assoc. Prof. Yuliana Mateeva, who heads the Chair of Legal
Studies at Varna Free University, will advise the Prime Minister
on criminal law reform. She is a master in law from the
Technical University in Varna and has a doctoral degree in
criminal law from the Southwestern University in Blagoevgrad.

Prof. Kalin Yanakiev will be adviser on the matters of faith. He
teaches at the Philosophy Faculty of Sofia University.

Tennis pro Manuela Maleeva will advise the Prime Minister on
youth and sport issues./PK/BR
