Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship
Izmir, September 28 (BTA) - Bulgaria's team won the gold medal
at the Group All-Around Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship
in Izmir (Turkey).
The Bulgarians won the title with a score of 34.449 points after
exceptional performances with five pairs of clubs (17.133
points) and three balls and two ribbons (17.316).
The Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics teams becomes world champion
following a break of 18 years. It had the gold in Budapest in
1996. This is the 10th world title for Bulgaria in the group
all-around events.
Italy was ranked second with 34.282 points, followed by Belarus
with 34133 points. The Russian team is fourth. /PK/TK/
