Nikopol, October 18 (BTA) - The political elite should be
sensible, pool together its intellect and fairness and attach
priority to the homeland and several major problems, Vice
President Margarita Popova said answering a question about her
expectations about the future government.

There is diverse representation in Parliament regardless of the
low turnout, said she. Absolutely all political forces may give
positive proposals and take actions that they be fulfilled, she
observed. The Vice President said she is moderate optimist.

Popova attended a formal inauguration of a monument of the
Knights of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint
John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta who perished in a
battle at Nikopol (Nicopolis) in 1396. They were led by
Hungarian King Sigismund in the Danubian Crusade against the
