Sofia, November 5 (BTA) - The parliamentary group of the
Patriotic Front (PF) does not "for the time being" support the
statement of GERB and the Reformist Bloc on the formation of
cabinet released on Tuesday, the Bulgarian National Radio said
Wednesday. In a statement the PF says that reaching an agreement
and supporting a stable cabinet can only be an outcome of
negotiations. PF Co-chairman Valeri Simeonov told the radio that
this is the categorical position of the formation after it
became clear that key prioroties agreed between the PF and GERB
were missing from Tuesday's programmatic declaration.

The PF find unacceptable "a number of key points". First,
nothing is being said about a new election code to enforce
mandatory voting, which the PF and GERB had agreed on. Second,
nothing is being said either about PF's main demand "to remove
from the state administration representatives of parties created
on ethnic basis". Other missing points, according to Simeonov,
are an audit of the energy sector, a firmer immigration policy,
and limiting child welfare benefits to up to the third child in
a family. "We are ready for talks," Simeonov said, stressing
that the PF will not step back from the priorities on whose
strength the voters voted in favour of the formation. PK /ZH/
