His Four Deputies' Coordination
Functions
Sofia, November 20 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has
determined his four deputies' functions of coordinating the
common policy of the Government and interacting with the
executive bodies with the Cabinet, the Government Information
Service said Thursday.
The Prime Minister will personally monitor the activity of the
State Agency for National Security and the State Commission on
Information Security.
Deputy Prime Minister for Coalition Policy and State
Administration Roumyana Buchvarova will coordinate the work of
the ministers of education and science, culture, health, youth
and sports, and tourism. She will be in charge of the
Government's interaction with the Archives State Agency, the
Communications Regulation Commission, the National Statistical
Institute, and the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency.
The Deputy Prime Minister for European Policy and Institutional
Issues Meglena Kuneva will monitor the activity of the ministers
of the interior, justice, defence, and foreign affairs. She
will coordinate the work of the State Agency for Metrological
and Technical Surveillance, the State Agency for the Bulgarians
Abroad, the State Agency for Refugees, the State Agency for
Technical Operations, the Nuclear Regulatory Agency, the Patent
Office, and the Centre for Prevention and Countering Corruption
and Organized Crime.
The Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds and Economic Policy
Tomislav Donchev will monitor the activity of the ministers of
finance, regional development and public works, economy, energy,
transport, information technology and communications,
agriculture and food, and environment and water. He will be in
charge of the interaction with the State Reserve and War-time
Stocks State Agency, the State Energy and Water Regulatory
Commission, the State Stock Exchange Commission, and the
Privatization and Post-Privatization Control Agency.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Demographic and Social Policy
Ivailo Kalfin will be in charge of the interaction with the
State Agency for Child Protection, the National Compensation
Housing Fund, and the National Agency for Vocational Education
and Training.
