Orange Alert in 21 Regions for Scorching Weather

Sofia, July 29 (BTA) - The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences has issued an orange warning alert for scorching weather in 21 regions in Bulgaria where temperatures are expected to reach between 36C and 40C.

A yellow alert is in force in the remaining seven regions: Pernik, Sofia City, Sofia Region, Smolyan, Bourgas, Varna and Dobrich.

The scorching weather is expected to continue until Thursday evening.
