Prosecutors Resubmit Indictment against 14 Defendants for Preaching Religious Hatred, War

Pazardzhik, South Central Bulgaria, September 9 (BTA) - The Pazardzhik District Prosecution Office resubmitted Wednesday an indictment against 14 defendants accused of preaching religious hatred and war.

The indictment was submitted again after violations of the procedural rules which reasoned the return of the case by the reporting judge in July, were removed.

All the defendants are from the region of Plovdiv, Pazardzhik and Asenovgrad. One of them is the imam of the Abu Bekir Mosque in Pazardjik, Ahmed Moussa, who is serving an effective five-year sentence from a previous radical Islam case.
