Maya Manolova Takes Oath as National Ombudsman

Sofia, October 8 (BTA) - Maya Manolova on Thursday took oath as Bulgaria's Ombudsman after Parliament terminated her credentials as MP. The new Ombudsman will assume office on October 20.

Manolova vowed to defend the rights of Bulgarian citizens and said she would start her tenure by holding meetings with people across the country.
