Regional Development Minister  Signs Ministerial Declaration at  World Road Congress Seoul

Seoul/Sofia, November 2 (BTA) - Bulgaria's Regional Development
Minister Liliyana Pavlova signed a ministerial declaration on
the development of the road sector at the 25th World Road
Congress Seoul, her Ministry said.

The congress is entitled "Roads and Mobility - Creating New
Value from Transport."

The document adopted at the forum identifies critical aspects of
 road sector development worldwide. The declaration sets the
priorities for the development of the road sector and states the
 ministers' readiness to cooperate in several key areas:
sustainable financing of road infrastructure construction and
maintenance; smart technologies minimizing the environmental
footprint; improved transport connectivity and road safety.

The declaration calls on the World Road Association (PIARC) and
the experts participating in the World Congress to do their best
 to enhance the further exchange of technologies, in the road
transport sector and in PIARC's subsequent work cycle.
