Bulgaria Wins Four Titles at 13th World Muay Thai Amateur and Pro-Am Championships

Bangkok, March 22 (BTA) - Bulgaria won 10 medals, including four golds, at the 13th World Muay Thai Amateur and Pro-Am Championships in Bangkok.

Some 450 entrants from 54 countries took part in the men's, women's, girls' and boys' divisions of the event. Bulgaria was represented by 14 entrants who earned four gold, three silver and three bronze medals.

The Bulgarian title-winners are Milen Marinov (51 kg), Dimiter Iliev (81 kg), Kristian Georgiev (85 kg) and Hristian Totev (91 kg).

Fifty-eight million viewers watched the competition live. It was broadcast on three of Thailand's largest television channels.
