Bulgarian President Condemns Terror Attack in Lahore

Sofia, March 28 (BTA) - Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has cabled condolences to his Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussain over the March 27 suicide bombing in the city of Lahore.

Plevneliev said: "At this difficult time I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to the relatives of the victims. Terrorism and violence are unacceptable and unjustifiable but the pain and anger are even stronger when innocent children are killed. Bulgaria strongly condemns acts of terror against innocent civilians."

The Bulgarian head of state went on to say that terrorism is a global threat which requires a global response.
