Data on Condition of Forest Areas Accessible Online

Sofia, June 20 (BTA) - As from Monday, every Internet user can check the condition of Bulgaria's forest areas, the Executive Forest Agency said. The statistics published show the size of the forest areas and the types of forests (total for the country and broken down by ownership: state-owned, municipal-owned, owned by natural and legal persons).

The information is public and can be found on the Agency's official website, at http://www.iag.bg, in the Documents section.

A special application sums up the information specifying the functionality and assigned use of forest areas.
