Radan Kanev Re-elected for New Term as Chairman of Right-wing Democrats for Strong Bulgaria

Sofia, July 16 (BTA) - In a 502-2 vote with ten abstentions Radan Kanev was re-elected Saturday as Chairman of the right-wing Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) for a new four-year term. The election took place during the 15th national assembly of the party.

Addressing the delegates at the forum, Kanev said that the strength was in them, rather than in him.

Kanev will have three deputies: Atanas Atanassov and Svetoslav Malinov, who too were re-elected, and a new deputy - Dimiter Syarov.

DSB's national leadership has 14 members, eleven of whom are elected by the national assembly and three are included by right.
