Q3 Detriment Tops Lv 2.2 Mln - Financial Inspection Agency

Sofia, October 10 (BTA) - The Public Financial Inspection Agency conducted 149 inspections in the third quarter, establishing detriment of 2,205,000 leva, of which nearly 35,800 leva were recovered.

The inspectors also checked 341 public procurement procedures worth 240,614,270 leva and found 46 irregularities in procedures for orders worth over 9.8 million leva, the Agency said in its third-quarter report.

Seventy-nine inspections were conducted on tip-offs to the Agency, and the remaining 70 were planned inspections.
