Electronic Register Presents Monuments, Sights in Sofia

Sofia, December 14 (BTA) - Sofia already has an electronic register of monuments of culture and tourist sights. The register, unveiled on Wednesday by Sofia Deputy Mayor in charge of culture and education Todor Chobanov and head of the Sofia Regional History Museum Nadezhda Kirova-Yovcheva, is accessible at registersofia.bg.

The register provides up-to-date information and descriptions of the location and current condition of memorial sites and sites with public artistic functions.

The sites are searchable by common search, map location, and by list.

The register currently has 300 entries, but the number grows constantly as the information is updated by a team of the Sofia Regional History Museum. The register will have an English version shortly.
