President Radev Cables Greetings to President Trump

Sofia, January 25 (BTA) - President Rumen Radev who took office on January 22 cabled greetings to U.S. President Donald Trump on the occasion of his inauguration, Radev's press secretariat said Wednesday.

In the cable Radev says he is pleased with the level of friendship and strategic partnership achieved between the two countries. Radev writes that Bulgaria highly values the ally relations with the United States in the area of security and defence.

"I trust that as presidents we will work to deepen the economic relations and the cultural dialogue between our two countries. I hope that the positive dynamics of our cooperation continues in the future so that we can further advance it and unfold the potential of the bilateral relations in priority areas of mutual interest such as science and education," the cable reads.
