President Radev Confers with German Chancellor Merkel

Valletta, February 3 (BTA) - Bulgarian President Rumen Radev took part in an informal EU summit in Malta on Friday, his Press Secretariat said.

Within the framework of the forum, the Bulgarian head of State conferred with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who wished Radev success in his responsible mission. The two discussed the President's forthcoming visit to Germany and exchanged views on topical issues on the EU agenda.

The sides confirmed the desire of Bulgaria and Germany to promote bilateral relations in all spheres.
