Movement for Rights and Freedoms Files Registration to Run in March 26 Parliamentary Elections

Sofia, February 8 (BTA) - The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Wednesday filed the documents for registration to run in the March 26 early parliamentary elections. MRF leader Moustafa Karadayi, who submitted the documents, told reporters that the formations' expectations for the elections are that the desire and will for change will prevail. Karadayi said that MRF's main opponents in the elections will be "the system and the systemic on the one hand, and the anti-system and the anti-systemic on the other". He said that the MRF is in the field of systemic parties.

Karadayi spoke about the growing competition of populist commitments in this country but said that the MRF will not allow itself to be drawn in it.

The MRF expects "a majority of values" in the new Parliament, instead of the unprincipled majorities in the previous legislature which triggered the early elections, Karadyi said.
