President Launches Consultations on New Cabinet Monday

Haskovo, April 21 (BTA) - President Rumen Radev told journalists in Haskovo that he is launching consultations with three of the parliamentary represented parties on the formation of a new government on Monday. Radev will meet the other two political forces on Tuesday.

The consultations will begin with the small parties - Volya, the Movement for Rights and Movement and the United Patriots - to continue with the larger ones on the following days. "The last consultations will be with the parliamentary group of GERB and then we will set the precise time of handing the mandate," said Radev.

Radev voiced satisfaction with the work of the caretaker cabinet. The most important - the holding of open and fair elections - has been fulfilled. The preparation of the EU Presidency is also within schedule as the lagging behind has been overcome, he added.
