Prosecutors Investigate Maritsa Motorway Construction

Sofia, April 25 (BTA) - The prosecution service said on Tuesday it is investigating the construction of the Maritsa Motorway in Southern Bulgaria.

BTA learned that officers of the special anticorruption unit stepped into the Sofia offices of the Road Infrastructure Agency.

The action is part of criminal proceedings for official malfeasance and mismanagement following an alert by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).
