Rhythmic Gymnastics: Neviana Vladinova Takes Gold in Baku World Cup Ribbon Finals

Baku, April 30 (BTA) - Bulgaria's Neviana Vladinova took gold in the ribbon finals of the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup 2017 in Azerbaijan's capital on Sunday. She scored 17.600 points, followed by Arina Averina (Russia) with 16.900 points, and Alina Gornosko (Belarus) with 16.800 points.

This is Vladinova's first World Cup gold medal. She also took bronze in the ball finals scoring 17.150 points, and placed fourth in the clubs and hoop events.

The other Bulgarian in the ribbon event, Boryana Kaleyn, placed seventh with 13.200 points.

On Saturday, the Bulgarian team took gold in the all-around competition, and Vladinova won the bronze medal in the all-around.
