Prime Minister Borissov Confers with Russian Ambassador Makarov

Sofia, May 25 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has conferred here with Russian Ambassador in Sofia Anatoly Makarov, who congratulated him on his election for a third term in office and wished him success, the Government Press Service reported on Thursday.

Borissov and Makarov discussed the development of bilateral relations, focusing on the opportunities to deepen and broaden them. Commercial and economic relations, tourism, energy projects in Bulgaria, and more specifically the European gas hub Balkan, were on the meeting's agenda, as well as seeking a private investor for the Belene N-plant.
