site.btaDay Two of President Radev's Official Visit to Montenegro
Podgorica, July 12 (BTA Special Correspondent Lora Metanova) - Bulgaria is attractive to Montenegrins as a tourist destination, particularly in terms of winter and mountain sports, President Rumen Radev told journalists Wednesday. Radev is paying a visit to Montenegro at the invitation of his counterpart Filip Vujanovic.

Regrettably, the two countries cannot develop their economic contacts appropriately because of the lack of adequate transport, energy and digital infrastructure. Both will work in that direction, the Bulgarian President said, adding that if a good infrastructure is built, these contacts can be much more dynamic. "We have all prerequisites for that," he said.

Steps to open direct flights between Podgorica and Sofia were discussed at the meetings, as well as the possibilities for Bulgaria to export electricity at very lucrative prices, Radev said.

All bilateral agreements in the field of trade, economic relations and tourism should be put in motion, the Head of State also noted.
