site.btaAwareness Campaign for Priorities during Bulgarian Presidency of EU Council Starts across Bulgaria
Sofia, September 26 (BTA) - The Ministry in charge of the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council in 2018 said Tuesday it is launching an awareness campaign across the country focusing on the priorities of the Presidency. On the programme are public discussions and Q and A sessions, with the first being held Tuesday in the southwestern town of Kyustendil.
Partners of the initiative are the Europe Direct information centres of the European Commission.
In Kyustendil, the Minister in charge of the Bulgarian Presidency, Liliyana Pavlova will speak to the audience about the European Consensus, the goals in the area of competitiveness and why cohesion matters for all. She will take questions and encourage proposals and suggestions from local government officials, business people, NGOs and the news media.
More debates are scheduled in Gabrovo, Hissarya, Veliko Turnovo, Stara Zagora and Varna.
