The Ezerets SPA Hotel in Blagoevgrad is positioning itself as a new modern destination for wellness and corporate tourism in southwestern Bulgaria, representatives of the hotel told BTA. This comes amid growing interest in year-round spa experiences and the search for a balance between relaxation and productivity, they added.

The hotel is located at the foot of the Rila Mountains and offers a natural setting for recovery, with clean air, quiet surroundings, and a sense of space. Following a full renovation, the property now presents an updated concept combining comfort, contemporary design, and functionality.

A key highlight is the modern spa center featuring mineral water, designed to support deep relaxation and restore physical and mental balance. The facility responds to increasing demand for services related to health and quality of life and is also open to external visitors. The wellness center includes a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, and herbal sauna, along with a spa menu offering massages, aromatherapy, and hydrotherapy treatments.

The spa complex also features an outdoor pool heated to 32°C, an outdoor mineral jacuzzi at 38°C, and a contrast mineral pool with temperatures of 33/24°C. The hotel has 49 accommodation units, including classic and deluxe rooms, one family apartment, and two deluxe apartments. Visitors include both domestic guests and international tourists from countries such as Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, and North Macedonia.

According to the hotel, it is also developing its corporate segment, with a modern conference hall and facilities for team-building events, training sessions, and business meetings combined with wellness services. "We believe the future lies in experiences. That is why we created a concept that brings together wellness, nature, and a business environment, so that every guest can find their own rhythm here," said the Argirov family, the hotel’s owners.

BTA presents news from certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature. Their total number exceeds 200. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe's leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event's main media partner.
