site.btaPM Borissov Congratulates Hungarian Counterpart Orban on Election Victory

Sofia, April 9 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has congratulated his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban and his Fidesz party on winning Sunday's general election in Hungary, Cabinet's Press Service reported Monday.

Borissov told Orban he highly values the friendly relations between Bulgaria and Hungary and believes in the excellent perspectives for developing beneficial bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation.

The Bulgarian PM noted that the challenges facing Europe call for cooperation, solidarity and a common approach to address them, while the people are expecting stability, security and economic prosperity.

The states in Europe need more than ever dialogue and unity, and Bulgaria will count on Hungary's support and cooperation for having a successful EU Council Presidecy in the interest of European citizens and united Europe, Borissov's cable said. He wished Orban health, wellbeing and success.
