site.btaNationalist Party Hits Back at MRF after Anti-Serbian Statement Criticism
Sofia, April 28 (BTA) - In a statement on Saturday, IMRO-BNM deputy leader Angel Dzhambazki said the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) is an anti-Bulgarian unconstitutional party which has no right to say who has a place in the government and who hasn't.
Dzhambazki was reacting to remarks by MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi earlier in the day who said that IMRO-BNM's statement against Serbia's EU accession is a worrying signal which reaffirms the assessment about the dangers of nationalist policies.
On Friday IMRO-BNM released a statement in connection with a provocation on the part of Serbia amid ongoing speculations about Bulgarian atrocities in the Western Outlands during World War One.
IMRO-BNM urged Serbia not to allow such provocations at a time when it is beginning its path to the EU.
The Western Outlands are territories in southeastern Serbia ceded by Bulgaria in 1920.
