site.btaBSP Organizes Protest against Corruption, Poverty on May 1

Sofia, April 29 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) is organizing a protest against corruption, misery and poverty in Sofia on May 1. Thousands are expected to gather in front of the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral at 11:00 am on Tuesday in order to express their demands for decent income and protest against the corruption that robs their labour, BSP said Sunday.

The procession will start at noon and reach the Council of Minister's building. The Signal rock band will perform at the end of the end of the protest march to mark the start of the Free Speech and Media celebrations in front of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre.
