Sofia, July 4 (BTA) - The Ekoravnovesie municipal dog shelter in Gorni Bogrov is organizing a dog adoption event on Saturday at Zaimov Park in downtown Sofia, the press center of Sofia Municipality said Friday. The initiative is mottoed "Adopt, Don't Shop" and is part of an adoption campaign created by Ekoravnovesie and the Gorni Bogrov Dog Shelter volunteers, who banded together in a group called The 1500 Dog Gang.
At the event, anyone can look at, walk, cuddle or take home one of the cute, healthy, dewormed and vaccinated dogs. The adoption procedure can be completed immediately on site, with the procedure being simplified as much as possible, requiring only an ID card.
