Sofia, August 4 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov cabled condolences to US President Donald Trump after the August 3 mass shooting in El Paso, the government's information service said on Sunday.

In the cable Borissov says that Bulgaria condemns the senseless act of violence which took many innocent lives.

Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva too cabled condolences to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Zaharieva wrote that nothing can justify this terrible act of violence which claimed many innocent lives.

In a press release the Foreign Ministry said that there is no information to suggest that Bulgarians were injured in the shooting. LY/ZH//
