site.bta1,081 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria

April 23 (BTA) - The confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria
 are 1,081, increasing by 66 in the past 24 hours, the national
coronavirus task force said on Thursday morning.

A total of 190 patients have recovered. The fatalities are 50,
three recent.

A total of 262 patients are in hospital, 37 of whom in intensive
 care.

There are 39 infected children, of them 22 are under ten years.

In view of the Muslim religious Ramadan holiday, the Chief Mufti
 Office has ordered prayers to be streamed online and performed
outside of mosques. Families are advised to gather only with
close relatives. Food that is handed out must be packed and only
 given to the neediest. The Foreign Ministry and the Health
Ministry will be recommended to halt expected trips from Turkey
