PM Borissov Attends AmCham Forum

Sofia, January 30 (BTA) - Speaking at a forum organized by the
American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham), Prime
Minister Boyko Borissov recalled that after the elections his
GERB party managed to form a government, albeit with
difficulties, which now is coping relatively well, to judge from
the latest opinion polls. "It was not the dream of the
political parties to be in this make-up but a better option had
been impossible," Borissov said. He went on to say that the
incumbent cabinet has the opportunity to work and to ensure that
2015 is not "empty" as 2014, because the aftermath of "the
[Plamen] Oresharski experiment" are disastrous for Bulgaria.
"This is the limit which this country can bear because we do not
have the resources as a state to cope," Borissov said.

The Prime Minister went on to recall the crisis with the
de-licensed Corporate Commercial Bank and the payment of
guaranteed deposits to depositors, the suspended EU funding and
blocked resources which Bulgaria experienced in 2014.
