Borissov Wishes Rajoy Success in Forming Spain's New Cabinet

Sofia, December 21 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov congratulated his Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy on the victory of his People's Party at the parliamentary elections, the Government Information Service said on Monday.

In a telephone conversation on Monday, Borissov wished Rajoy success in forming the country's new government, the press release says.

"The years of your first term in office were successful for the country's stabilization, for the promotion of friendly relations between Bulgarian and Spain and for our mutual cooperation within the European Union. I am confident that the trust that the Spanish people placed in you will give you strong support to form a stable cabinet which will build on the achievements so far and lead Spain to prosperity," the Bulgarian head of government pointed out.
