Head of State Sends Condolences to Egyptian President el-Sisi
Sofia, December 11 (BTA) - Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev Sunday sent a letter of condolence to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in connection with a bombing at a chapel adjacent to Egypt's main Coptic Christian cathedral, which killed 25 people and wounded another 49 during Sunday Mass.
On behalf of the Bulgarian people and on his own behalf, the head of State expressed condolences to the bereaved, his Press Secretariat said.
"We were shocked by the news of yet another terrorist act that took dozens of innocent lives. We sincerely hope that the culprits will be held to account so that such gory attacks would no longer happen," the President's letter reads.
