Borissov, Turkish PM Yildirim Discuss Situation in the Balkans

Sofia, May 26 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim have discussed the state of play in the Balkans in a phone call, the government information service said on Thursday.

The two government leaders concurred that cooperation between their countries is exceptionally important to the region's stability and development. They noted their good cooperation in curbing the migrant flow towards Europe, stressing that the agreement on reducing the pressure on the Bulgarian border would continue to be honoured.

Yildirim wished Borissov a successful new term and invited him to visit Turkey on June 13.

The Turkish Prime Minister asked Borissov to convey Ramadan greetings to all Bulgarian Muslims.
