Pleven, Northern Bulgaria, March 29 (BTA) - More than 200,000 leva were stolen in a robbery of a cash-in-transit vehicle on Wednesday evening, the Appellate Prosecuting Magistracy said.

The robbery took place in front of a Kaufland store. A total of 202,000 leva were stolen.

A pre-trial proceeding was opened. The Pleven District Prosecutor, the spokesman of the District Prosecuting Magistracy and the spokesman of the Regional Directorate of the Interior all declined to give information on the case.
