site.btaPrice of Natural Gas Increases by 2.6 Per Cent as of April 1, Energy and Water Regulation Commission Decides

Sofia, March 30 (BTA) - The price of natural gas increases by 2.6 per cent as of April 1 to 361.82 leva for 1,000 cu m, exclusive of excise duty and VAT, the Energy and Water Regulation Commission decided. The price is effective for the second quarter of the year.

The increase is lower than the 4.8 per cent upmark suggested by state-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz.

The new price of natural gas will not affect the prices of heating and of electricity for household and non-household consumers on the regulated market.
